Here is the latest evolution of the FEI regulations, and discover all the essential information to participate in CDI Amateur.
1 – EVOLUTION OF THE FEI CDI AMATEUR REGULATIONS:
The Regulations for Amateur Dressage Competitions (CDI) have been revised to five distinct levels:
- Bronze Tour : Open to all Am participants – Junior level tests.
- Silver Tour : Open to all Am participants – Young Riders level tests.
- Gold Tour : Open to all Am participants – Tests Saint-Georges, Inter I et Libre Inter.
- Platinum Tour: Open to all Am participants – Tests Inter A, Inter B et Libre A ou B.
- Diamond Tour : Open to all Am participants – Tests Grand Prix, Grand Prix Spécial et Reprise Libre.
The choice of Tour is specified when entering.
Each organizer can offer a maximum of three tours with a maximum of three tests each. A rider/horse pair can compete in only one tour per event, and it is not possible to change levels during the competition.
2 – HOW TO COMPETE IN AMATEUR EVENTS
To participate in amateur events, several conditions are required:
- Possess an Amateur license
- Not depending primarily on income from equestrian activities (teaching, trade, professional breeding, etc.)
- Age: Starting from the calendar year in which they reach the age of twenty-six (26) years.
